This year has gotten off to a harsh start so this article is helping you get off to a good start.

“With organization comes with empowerment”

-Lynda Peterson

Have you ever been so unorganised that you didn't know what the day was?

Have you ever forgot you had a quiz?

1: TEXTBOOKS,TEXTBOOKS,TEXTBOOKS

For me i always use textbooks in and out of class. I am a visual learner

so i love text books. How do we get a textbook: Go to Mrs.Crump's office entrance in the Library and grab a form.

2:Get organized

In 6th,7th, and 8th grade you have to be organized because if not

you can't find any of your stuff that could be for homework or notes. You never want to leave your stuff every where

3: ALWAYS TAKE NOTES

Taking notes is one of the best ways to learn if it's by note cards or just on a sheet of paper! Reviewing over is easy and no pain with colored hi-lighters or pens.

4: Make a time and date planner

When you get home it can be stressful if you don't know what your suppose to do for homework. At the bottom of your CMS planner you can make a time and date planner where you can make plans for activities too.

5: Don't Stress over grades

In my 6th grade year i was way too stressed over grades that it was hard for me to study. If your grades are low just ask your teacher for extra credit.

6: School FIRST!

With School sports and out of school activities you have to do homework first! You can find 10-15 min in your day to dedicate to homework. The More you get done the easier it will be!

7: Get Good Sleep

Teenagers need sleep and it helps refresh your brain! Especially for athletics because you need energy to start off the day right!

8:Get ready for your day ahead.

Many people set out clothes and uniforms at night so in the morning you can just go. It makes it easier to get out quick!

9:Chew Gum!

We all know that gum tastes good but it also helps you think better on tests and reviews. It also helps speed your heart rate up too when you're sitting down at your desk. Sadly many teachers do not let kids chew gum so make sure you can and make wise choices.

10: Be prepared!

Make sure you think through problems and situations at school when it comes to academics. Always expect something new! Trying something may change a thing in the world.
